Mike had to help me prep the site and place the pump on the back of my arm. I am sure I will be able to do it myself from here on out, but it never hurts to have some help the first time.
I use BD Alcohol Swabs instead of generic, they tend to do a better job. Make sure the prepped site dries completely before placing the new pod on

I hope everyone has a nice Monday! I am off work today due to the holiday. Lots of productive errands so far! Possible Paleo baking later this afternoon....pics to come.
But let's remember the real reason we are celebrating today.
Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable... Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals.

Did it stay on during hot yoga? Does the heat affect the insulin or make it expire when doing hot yoga?
ReplyDeleteMy pump does stay on during Hot Yoga! The heat does not make the insulin expire and since I teach 45 minute classes and the max I am in the room is 90 mins, it does not affect my blood sugar. Hope this helps!
